VERY COMFORTABLE AND EXCELLENT HEEL SOFTNESS, EVEN WITH MY ORTHOTICS INSERTED. I AM NOT A RUNNER, BUT I DO LIKE THE OUTER SOLE TREAD. I AM OLDER AND THESE SOLE ARE VERY STABALIZING SHOES THAT HELP MY BALANCE.
