Over 40 years ago Craft began researching to find a fabric that would wick moisture away from the body during exercise. The founder of Craft Anders Bengtsson even weighed his apparel post-exercise to measure the moisture displaced.
After much research, Craft invented their own principle of layering called the "Craft Principle." This involved three layers. The innermost layer wicks moisture, the middle layer retains some heat but not so much to cause overheating and the third layer is protection from the elements.
Craft sponsors cross-country skiiers, cyclists, and triathletes.
